Create, view, and manage your appointments on the go.
Use our mobile admin app to view and manage appointments on the go. The app is called Acuity Scheduling Admin in the Google Play Store, and Acuity Scheduling Admin in the Apple App Store.
What you can do in the app
In the app, you can:
- View calendars and appointments
- Schedule new appointment for clients
- Block off time from your calendar
- Cancel, edit, or reschedule appointments
- Accept payments
- Send a direct link to your scheduling page
- Resend your clients’ confirmation emails
- Manage your availability and scheduling limits
- View and edit your client list
- Create invoices
- Create and edit appointment types and group classes
- Create and edit add-ons and coupons for appointment types
- Report a problem or send feedback
- Edit your notification settings
To set up or edit more advanced settings, log into your account on a computer.
Note: The admin app is available in English. If another language is set in your Customize Appearance panel that translates the web version of Acuity, certain screens in the app will be displayed in that language.
View calendars and appointments
From the app home screen, you can view your daily appointments, jump to a different date in the week or month, or update which calendars display.
- To edit which calendar’s appointments display, tap …, then tap Calendars. Check or uncheck the calendar boxes that you want to display, or tap Show all calendars.
- To view appointments on a different day of the week, tap the date in the weekly calendar navigation, or swipe left or right to switch to a different week. You can also tap the month in the top navigation to expand the calendar and view a date later in the month.
- To view your appointment schedule, tap …, then tap Agenda view.
- To search for a specific client, tap …, then tap Search. Enter the client's name, email, or phone number to locate the client profile.
- To return to the current date, tap the Today icon in the top-right.
- To refresh the calendar to ensure your appointments are up to date, tap the Refresh icon in the top-right.
- For a weekly view of your appointments, rotate your device horizontally.
Schedule a new appointment
To schedule a new appointment for a client:
- From the app home screen, tap +, then tap Add appointment.
- Use the Appointment type, Calendar, and Date fields to set appointment details.
- Use the Time field to choose a time from the list, or use the Custom time or Recurring buttons. After you’ve made your selection, tap Select time.
- Tap the Client field. Enter the client’s name, email address, and phone number (optional). The app will suggest details for returning clients. After you’ve made your selection, tap Select client.
- Tap other fields to add labels, add-ons, or notes, or to edit intake forms or coupon or package codes. If you don’t want Acuity to send your client an email, uncheck Send confirmation email.
- Tap Schedule appointment.
Block off time from your calendar
To block off time:
- From the app home screen, tap +, then tap Block time.
- If you tap Block multiple days, you'll choose a start and end date. Otherwise, you'll choose a start and end time and a day.
- If you want your block to repeat every week, tap Repeat and follow the prompts.
- After choosing all options, tap Add block.
Reschedule an appointment
To reschedule an appointment:
- From the home screen, choose the appointment on your Acuity calendar, then tap the pencil icon.
- Tap Reschedule.
- Choose a new date and time for the appointment.
- (Optional) If you don’t want Acuity to send your client an email, uncheck Send rescheduling email.
- Tap Reschedule appointment.
Edit an appointment or time block
To edit an appointment:
- From the home screen, choose the appointment on your Acuity calendar, then tap the pencil icon.
- Tap Edit.
- Tap any field to change the appointment type, calendar, client, labels, add-ons, notes, intake form replies, or coupon or package code for the appointment.
- Once you’ve edited the details, tap Confirm changes.
To edit or remove blocked time:
- From the home screen, tap the blocked time on your Acuity calendar, then tap the pencil icon.
- Tap Edit, or tap Delete to remove the blocked time from your calendar.
- If you're editing a blocked time, make your changes, then click Edit block.
Add another appointment
If a client wants to rebook the same appointment type, you can add another appointment from the appointment summary:
- From the home screen, choose the appointment on your Acuity calendar, then tap the pencil icon.
- Tap New appointment.
- Tap the Date field to select another date, then tap the Time field to select an available time. Tap any of the other fields to make more changes, if needed.
- Tap Schedule appointment.
Accept payments
Using our integration with Square, you can pair a supported Square Reader with the Acuity Scheduling mobile admin app to accept payments in person. To learn more, visit Accepting Scheduling payments in person with Square.
You can also collect payments for appointments in person using Stripe with the Acuity Scheduling mobile admin app.
Note: Square is the only payment processor that can pair a card reader with Squarespace.
To connect to a payment processor or manage your payment settings, log into your account on a computer. For help getting set up, visit Connecting payment processors to Acuity and Managing payments in Acuity.
Collect payment after booking
You can manually enter the client’s payment method, record a cash payment, or send them a direct link to make a payment from the mobile admin app.
- From the app home screen, tap the appointment on your calendar.
- Tap Make a payment.
- In the menu that appears, you have three options:
- Tap Send payment link to send a link to your client using your device’s built-in share apps, like text message, email, or other messaging app. To learn more about payment links, visit Managing payments in Acuity Scheduling.
- Tap Credit card, then select a card on file, or enter a new payment method, then tap Complete payment.
- Tap Cash, then enter the amount and tap Record payment.
Send a direct link
Send clients to a specific appointment type, appointment category, calendar, or location using a direct scheduling link. To find direct links:
- From the app home screen, tap the share icon.
- Tap the link type you want to share, then tap Share to open your device's messaging options, or tap Customize Link to edit the URL.
Resend the client’s confirmation email
To resend a confirmation email:
- From the home screen, choose the appointment on your Acuity calendar, then tap the pencil icon.
- Tap Resend confirmation email, then tap Resend confirmation email again.
Cancel an appointment
To cancel an appointment:
- From the home screen, choose the appointment on your Acuity calendar, then tap the pencil icon.
- Tap Cancel.
- (Optional) To mark the appointment as a no-show, tap This was a no-show appointment.
- (Optional) To prevent Acuity from sending the client a cancellation email, uncheck Send cancellation email.
- (Optional) If Send cancellation email is checked, you can tap the Notes field to add a note to the client.
- Tap Confirm cancellation.
Manage availability and scheduling limits
To change when clients can book appointments, you can update your availability and scheduling limits. To manage your availability, from the app home screen, tap the clock icon.
Depending on your device, when viewing your calendar in the Acuity Scheduling mobile admin app, hours outside your availability may not be shaded to show their status. This is a display difference only, the times clients can book with you won't change.

Enable tipping
If you have Administrator access, you can enable tipping from your mobile device so your clients can tip after an appointment:
- Tap the
, then tap Tipping.
- Tap to toggle the Clients can tip when they pay in full switch ON.
- Tap Save.
Create and edit appointment types and group classes
To create new appointment types or group classes, or to edit the appointment types and group classes you already have, in the app home screen, tap the , then tap Appointment types.

Create and edit add-ons and coupons for appointment types
In the app home screen, tap the , then tap Appointment types. Tap the Types drop-down menu, and choose Add-ons or Coupons.

Note: It's not possible to create coupons for packages, gift certificates, and subscriptions in the mobile app.
Use the latest version
To check which version of the app you have, in the app’s home screen, tap the . The app version appears at the bottom of the menu.
To check for updates, tap the app version number. If an update is available, your device will download it and the update will apply the next time the app restarts. You can prompt this by force-closing and restarting the app.
Tip: Some major updates will require you to go to your app store and update the app manually.

Report a problem or send feedback
If you're having trouble with the Acuity Scheduling mobile admin app, use the in-app feedback tool to contact us. This tool sends us information we can use to diagnose and fix your problem, especially if you send the report immediately after the problem happens.
Note: We’ve updated our in-app feedback tool. To ensure your feedback is successfully sent to Squarespace, you should update your Squarespace mobile admin app to the latest version.
To use the in-app feedback tool:
- Trigger the feedback tool by shaking your mobile device or taking a screenshot.
- Tap Report an issue.
- Enter a description of the issue or suggestion.
- To include a screenshot, tap Mark the bug. To draw on the screenshot and highlight the problem, tap the pencil icon. Click the color picker to select a different annotation color. When you're done, tap Next.
- To send your feedback, tap the Submit.
You can also contact support using the in-app feedback tool.
- Trigger the feedback tool by shaking your mobile device or taking a screenshot.
- Tap Contact Squarespace support.
- Enter your message.
- Enter your email address.
- Tap Submit.
Edit your notification settings
The Acuity Scheduling mobile admin app can send you push notifications when clients book new appointments, when appointments are rescheduled, and when appointments are canceled.
To enable these notifications, in the app home screen, tap the , then tap Notifications settings.
You can:
- Toggle push notifications on or off.
- Toggle notifications for new, rescheduled, and canceled appointments on or off if push notifications are enabled.
After you’ve made your selections, tap Save.
Note: If push notifications are enabled in the app but you're not receiving notifications, check your device's settings to ensure push notifications are allowed for the Acuity Scheduling mobile admin app. For specific instructions, visit Apple or Android's support documentation.
