Using the Acuity Scheduling Admin mobile app

Last updated

Install the app for your iOS or Android device.

Use our mobile admin app to view and manage appointments on the go.

What you can do in the app

You can do the following in the mobile app:

To set up or edit more advanced settings, log into your account on a computer or mobile web browser.

Note: The admin app is available in English. If you’ve selected a different language for your account, certain screens in the app will display in that language instead.

Use the latest version

To check which version of the app you have, in the app’s home screen, tap More. The app version appears at the bottom of the menu.

To check for updates, tap the app version number. If an update is available, your device will download it and the update will apply the next time the app restarts. You can prompt this by force-closing and restarting the app.

Tip: Some major updates will require you to go to your app store and update the app manually.

To find the latest iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android operating systems, read the app details in the App Store or Google Play.

View calendars and appointments

From the app home screen, view your daily appointments, jump to a different date in the week or month, or update which calendars display.

  • To edit which calendar’s appointments display, tap , then tap Calendars. Check or uncheck the calendar boxes that you want to display, or tap Show all calendars
  • To view appointments on a different day of the week, tap the date in the weekly calendar navigation, or swipe left or right to switch to a different week. You can also tap the month in the top navigation to expand the calendar and view a date later in the month.
  • To view your appointment schedule, tap , then tap Agenda view.
  • To search for a specific client, tap , then tap Search. Enter the client's name, email, or phone number to locate the client profile.
  • To return to the current date, tap the Today icon in the top-right.
  • To refresh the calendar to ensure your appointments are up to date, tap the Refresh icon in the top-right.
  • For a weekly view of your appointments, rotate your device horizontally.

Edit your notification settings

You can get push notifications for new appointments, rescheduled appointments, or canceled appointments on any calendar you have access to. You can also get reminders about upcoming appointments.

To enable these notifications:

  1. From the app home screen, tap More, then tap Notifications Settings.
  2. Tap to toggle the Allow Push Notifications switch on.
  3. Tap to toggle the switches for new, rescheduled, canceled, or upcoming appointment reminders.
  4. Tap Save.

Note: If push notifications are enabled in the app but you're not receiving notifications, check your device's settings to ensure push notifications are allowed for the Acuity Scheduling Admin mobile app. For specific instructions, visit Apple or Android's support documentation.

The app keeps logging me out

If your account isn’t HIPAA enabled, and the app is frequently logging you out, there may be too many connections between Acuity and the mobile app. This can happen when multiple people share the same login information. Instead, you should add each team member as a contributor.

To remove the extra connections:

  1. Log into Acuity through a web browser, not the mobile admin app, then click Integrations.
  2. Find Connected Apps, then click Edit.
  3. Find each connection marked Scheduling Mobile App, click Disable, then click OK. Do not click Disable for other integrations.
