Canceling your Acuity subscription if you have the classic Billing panel or My Account panel

This guide explains how to cancel your Acuity subscription if you have the classic Billing panel or the My Account panel. These instructions apply to you if you created a separate Acuity account when you first signed up for Acuity. They apply even if your account has since been convertedCanceling your Acuity subscription if you have the classic Billing panel or My Account panel to Squarespace.

If you created a Squarespace account when you first signed up for Acuity, or if you already had a Squarespace account that you used to sign up for Acuity, use the instructions in Canceling your Acuity subscription if you have the Squarespace Billing panel instead.

Supported devices

It's only possible to manage your Acuity subscription from a computer.

Required permissions

Account owners and contributors with Admin or Billing permissions can cancel an Acuity subscription.

Cancellation policies

You can cancel your subscription, downgrading to the legacy free plan, at any time. In this state, your account data is saved, but you aren't charged.

Cancel your Acuity subscription

To cancel your Acuity subscription:

  1. In Acuity, click My Account or Manage Billing.
  2. Scroll to the Current Plan section.
  3. Click Cancel Subscription, then click Confirm Cancellation.

This will downgrade you to the legacy free plan immediately. To reverse your cancellation, upgrade to a paid plan.

What happens after I cancel my subscription?

Clients can still book online if you’re on the legacy free plan. To prevent new bookings, remove all availability from your calendar.
