Ensure clients have access to important details about their upcoming appointment.
When a client books an appointment, or when you book an appointment for them, they receive a confirmation email. The confirmation email includes the option to add the appointment to their calendar, or change or cancel the appointment.
You can resend confirmation emails to your clients if needed. Confirmation emails are the only Acuity notification types you can resend, and it's not possible to resend confirmation emails for past appointments.
Re-send a confirmation email
To resend confirmation emails:
- Open the Calendar panel: I log in with an Acuity account | I log in with a Squarespace account.
- Click the client’s upcoming appointment to open the appointment details.
- Click , then click Resend confirmation email.
Recurring appointments
When clients book recurring appointments, they get one confirmation email for all the appointments together. To resend confirmation for recurring appointments, follow the steps above for each appointment separately.
