Ensure clients have access to important details about their upcoming appointment.
When a client books an appointment, or when you book an appointment for them, they receive a booking confirmation email. The booking confirmation email includes the option to add the appointment to their calendar, or change or cancel the appointment.
You can resend booking confirmation emails to your clients if needed. Booking confirmation emails are the only Acuity notification types you can resend. It's not possible to resend booking confirmation emails for past appointments.
Re-send a booking confirmation email
To resend booking confirmation emails:
- In Acuity, click Calendar.
- Click the client’s upcoming appointment to open the appointment details.
- Click
, then click Resend confirmation email.
Recurring appointments
When clients book recurring appointments, they get one booking confirmation email for all the appointments together. To resend booking confirmation emails for recurring appointments, follow the steps above for each appointment separately.
