Manage the clients who sign up for your group classes.
Group classes are available to book on your scheduling page. You can also manually add clients to classes, or remove a single client who can no longer attend.
Add attendees
You can add an attendee to a group class from your Acuity calendar:
- In Acuity, click Calendar in the left navigation menu.
- Navigate to the date of the class, then click the class event.
- In the group class details that appear, click Attendee.
- Enter your client’s contact information. Include an email address to send the client email notifications about the appointment.
- Click Schedule Appointment or use the arrow to select Schedule, but don’t send confirmation email.
Remove an attendee from a group class
If a client needs to cancel their spot in a group class, you can remove them:
- In Acuity, click Calendar in the left navigation menu.
- Navigate to the date of the class, then click the client's name to bring up their details.
- Click Cancel.
- Check Mark as no-show and/or Send email to client, if applicable. If you choose to send an email, you can add a message.
- Click Cancel Appointment.
Email all group class attendees
To update everyone who's signed up for a group class, you can email all the attendees:
- In Acuity, click Calendar in the left navigation menu.
- Navigate to the date of the class, then click the class event.
- In the group class details that appear, click Email Attendees.
- A new message will open in your email program. The subject and message body is blank, and the email addresses of all group class attendees are entered in the To: field.
Note: If the class has 100 or more people booked, you can't send an email to the attendees from the class details page. Instead, export a list of all appointments for that day, then copy the email addresses from the spreadsheet.
