Add, update, and remove users in your Acuity account

Last updated

Add staff to your Acuity account, update their permissions, or remove them when they leave.

Give your team access to your booking tools so they can manage calendars, update settings, and support your clients. You can add an unlimited number of users to your Acuity account and control their access levels.

Note: If you log into Acuity through a Squarespace account, you'll manage your staff directly through Squarespace instead. Which kind of account do I have?

  6. If you selected View only or View & edit access, use the checkboxes to choose which calendars they can access.
  7. Click Add user.
  8. Send your new user their login details. They won’t receive any automatic notification that you added them.

What if a user's email address is already in use?

Each email address can only connect to one Acuity account at a time. If you try to add a team member whose email is already associated with another Acuity account, you can either:

  • Add them using a different email address.
  • Ask them to log into their other account and change their email address, which frees up their primary address for your business.
