Share your scheduling page with clients

Last updated

Share your scheduling page link or embed the scheduler on your website so clients can book your services.

Clients can use your scheduling page to book appointments, join classes, or purchase packages, gift certificates, and subscriptions. To share your scheduler, you can send a link, generate QR codes, or embed it into your website.

Also try: Using direct links for specific appointments, or customizing your links.

Find your client scheduling page link

To find the address of your client scheduling page:

  1. Open the Scheduling Page panel, then click Link
  2. In the General Scheduling Page section, click Copy to add the link to your clipboard.
  3. When you share the link, use the scheduling page address just as it appears. Scheduling page links don’t include www. and adding this to the beginning of the address will cause an error.

Share your scheduling page link

To share your scheduling page with clients, you can:

  • Add scheduling to your website - Embed your scheduler, or add a booking button or booking bar on your website.
  • Share links to different scheduling pages - Copy your client scheduling page link for all public appointment types, or direct links to specific appointment types, then paste them into messages or email campaigns sent to clients, or your social media posts or bio.
  • Share links from the mobile app - Find and send direct links in the Acuity Admin mobile app.

Use QR codes to share your scheduler

You can download a QR code that clients scan with their mobile device to share your scheduling page link on flyers, business cards, and other printed materials. If you set a custom scheduling page link, QR codes use that link. It’s not possible to create QR codes for package, gift certificate, or subscription links.

To download a QR code for your scheduling page, or direct links to appointment types, classes, and categories:

  1. Open the Scheduling Page panel, then click Link.
  2. In the Direct links & embedding section, use the dropdown menu to choose your link.
  3. Click QR code.
  4. Click Download PNG.

To download a QR code for direct links to calendars or calendar locations:

  1. Open the Availability panel.
  2. Click Direct Scheduling Link on your calendar or location.
  3. Click QR code.
  4. Click Download PNG.

Update link previews for social media sharing

When you share your link, many social sharing platforms will create a preview of your link. These previews are often generated using the business name and logo you've set in Acuity.

If you've recently updated your business name or logo, but a social media platform is still using the old version when you share your link, check if the social media platform has a tool for updating link information. Here are some link-updating tools that might help you:

How do I share links for private appointment types?

If you share a direct link to a single private appointment type, or a category or calendar with only private appointment types, the private appointment types will display. If your direct link leads to a mix of public and private appointment types, only public options will display.

Sharing private class links

If all of your classes are private, your class list links won't show any available classes. If you want to share a direct link for multiple private classes, consider adding them all to a single category and sharing a direct link to the category instead.

Can I share links that only work for some clients?

No. If you have an appointment type that’s only for select clients, you can make the appointment type private, then send them a direct link. You may want to ask your clients not to forward the link.
