What details can I add to my classes?
When creating or editing a class type, use the fields outlined below to add details about the service.
Class name
Add the name of your class. The name will display to clients on your scheduling page and in the automated notifications they receive after booking.
Class description
Add a description that displays below the class name. Long descriptions will be condensed with a Show All button for clients to expand the full description, or you can adjust your scheduling page settings to show full descriptions.
Show a message after scheduling
Add a custom message that displays to clients on the confirmation page after booking. For example, you can add instructions on what to bring to the appointment, or thank the client for their business.
Class duration
To set a class duration, enter a number of minutes between 1 and 1440 (24 hours). If you edit the duration later, both new and existing classes of that type will be scheduled for the new duration.
Block off time before or after the class
Set a number of minutes to automatically block off extra time on your calendar before or after a class. This extra padding builds breaks between appointments that aren't visible to clients.
Class price
Enter how much your class costs per session, or leave the price blank so clients can book without paying. Changes to the price will only apply to new classes booked moving forward.
Category
Group different classes by category by selecting an existing category, or click Create a new Category to add a new category.
Color
Choose the color used to display this class type on your Calendar page. You can select one of the default colors or set a custom color. Your appointment type colors aren’t shown to clients.
Class image
Include an image to display with the class on your scheduler. Make sure the image meets our formatting requirements.
Can I schedule classes over other appointments and blocked time?
Yes. You can offer a class that clients can schedule if your calendar already has blocked time, a synced calendar event, or an existing appointment. Once you schedule the class, clients can't book other appointments at the same time on the same calendar.
