Compare using Acuity on its own or linking it to a Squarespace website.
When you start a free trial, you choose to use Acuity by itself or attach it to a Squarespace website. You can't change this selection later. While Acuity works the same either way, there are a few differences in how you access and manage your account.
Determine if your Acuity subscription is attached to a Squarespace website
To determine if your subscription is attached to a Squarespace website, log in to your Squarespace account dashboard:
- If an Acuity Scheduling button appears next to the small image of your Squarespace website subscription, your Acuity subscription is attached to a Squarespace website.
- If Acuity Scheduling appears on its own tile with a small placeholder image and a unique built-in domain, your Acuity subscription isn't attached to a Squarespace website.
I log in a different way
If you log in to Acuity from https://acuityscheduling.com/login.php and you have one Acuity subscription, you’ll go right to your scheduler page. If you have multiple Acuity subscriptions, they will appear in a list for you to select from:
What kind of account experience do I have?
After you log in, how you access and manage certain features, like your billing settings or adding contributors, depends on what options appear on your scheduler page. Review the following screenshots to determine which option applies to you:
- Click Manage Users or Manage Billing to access your billing and contributor settings
- If Manage Users and Manage Billing doesn’t appear, click your profile picture or initials to access your billing and contributor settings
Other differences between attached and unattached Acuity subscriptions
In addition to the navigation and screen appearance differences above, contributor access also varies:
- Acuity subscriptions not attached to a website: Unlimited contributors
- Acuity subscriptions attached to a website: Contributor limitations based on your website subscription
Can I use my Acuity subscription with a Squarespace website if they’re not attached?
Yes. You can embed an Acuity scheduler on any Squarespace website, even if they aren’t attached.
