If you log into Acuity with an Acuity account, this guide is intended for you.
If you log into Acuity with a Squarespace account, visit the Login and password section of the Squarespace Help Center to learn how to manage your username and password.
Your username and password are how Acuity identifies you. You use this information when you log in, and you need to be able to access the email address you use as a username to get help with certain support questions. This guide explains how to change or recover your username and how to change or reset your password.

Change your username
Your username is the email address you use to log into Acuity. Change your username by updating the Email/username field.
Note: Each email address can only be used with one Acuity account. If your email address is already connected to an Acuity account, remove it before trying to add it to a second account.
This also applies to Acuity client accounts. It doesn't apply to Squarespace accounts, even if they're connected to Acuity.
On a computer or a mobile browser
- Log in to the account with the username (email address) you want to change.
- Go to the My account page.
- Type a new email address into the Email/username field.
- Click Save changes.
In the Acuity Scheduling mobile admin app
- Tap the in the bottom menu bar.
- Tap Manage account.
- Type a new email address into the Email/username field.
- Tap Save changes.
Tip: If you want to add more users, review our information on adding users to Acuity accounts instead.
Find your username
Your username is the email address you use to log into Acuity. If you’ve forgotten your username, or if you get the error message “Username doesn’t exist” when you try to log in, check previous emails from Acuity (like billing receipts) for your username.
If that doesn't work, please fill out this form.
Note: It’s not possible to change the usernames of client accounts, which are accounts for people who book appointments with businesses that use Acuity. Instead, the next time you book an appointment, click the link on the confirmation page to create a new client account with a different username.
