What kind of account do I use to log into Acuity Scheduling?

All new Acuity customers use Squarespace accounts to log in. Some longtime customers use Acuity accounts to log in. Read below for more details.

No matter which type of account you use, you can log in at acuityscheduling.com/login.php.

Which type of account do I have?

To verify which kind of account you have, log into Acuity from a web browser on your computer or mobile device and look at the bottom of the left menu bar. If your menu includes My Account, you have an Acuity account. If it doesn’t, you have a Squarespace account.

To offer new security options, we've converted Acuity accounts to use Squarespace's login system. 

If your account was converted, both of these will be true:

• You don't have the My Account panel near the bottom of the left menu bar.
• Clicking Manage Billing in the left menu bar takes you to an acuityscheduling.com URL.

Why do I need to know?

Many people won’t ever need to pay attention to this distinction, but it's relevant if you’re reading help guides about certain settings related to paying for Acuity and managing users.

Why do I have a squarespace.com domain?

Your Acuity account may include a built-in domain (also called a Squarespace URL) that looks like this:
yoursiteid.squarespace.com. We automatically generate your site ID (the first part of the built-in domain) using two random words, and sometimes a string of characters.

You can't edit the built-in domain and it isn’t shared with clients or visible to the public. The link you share with clients is your client scheduling page URL.
