Add, update, and remove Acuity contributors

Invite team members to help manage your appointments and calendar and control what they can access.

Give your team access to Acuity so they can schedule appointments, manage client information, and update calendar settings. By inviting them as contributors, you control what they can see and do in Acuity. If you also have a Squarespace website plan, you can add as many contributors as your plan allows.

Invite a contributor to manage Acuity

Contributors must accept your invitation before they can access the account.

To invite a contributor:

1. Open the Permissions panel.
2. Click Invite Contributor.
3. Enter the team member’s name and email address.
4. Use the toggle to select their access level.
5. If you selected Scheduling Administrator, click Invite to invite your new contributor. If you selected Scheduling View Only or Scheduling View & Edit, click Next.
6. Choose whether the contributor can export appointments and client information.
7. Check the boxes for the calendars you want them to have access to.
8. Click Invite.

Change a contributor's permissions 

You can adjust a team member’s permissions after you add them.

To change a team member’s access:

1. Open the Permissions panel and click the contributor's name.
2. Use the toggles to set their access level.
3. If they have Scheduling View Only or Scheduling View & Edit access, they can't automatically access new calendars. Click Assign & Manage Calendars to choose which calendars they can access and whether they can export data.
4. Click Done, then click Save.

Cancel a contributor invitation

To cancel an invitation:

1. Open the Permissions panel.
2. In the Invites Sent section, click the invitation you want to cancel.
3. Click ..., then click Cancel Invite.
4. Click Confirm.

Remove a contributor from your Squarespace account

To remove a contributor:

1. Open the Permissions panel and click the contributor you want to remove.
2. Click ..., then click Remove contributor.
3. Click Remove.
