How clients use the Acuity Scheduling Client mobile app

Have clients download the client app to book appointments on the go.

Your clients can book and track appointments from their mobile devices with the Acuity Scheduling Client mobile app, so they don’t have to visit your site.

Tip: We also offer an admin app to help you manage appointments and Acuity account settings.

How clients get the app

Your clients can find the app in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

How clients add your business with your scheduling URL

Clients who've downloaded the app can add your business to the app by entering your scheduling URL. To find that URL:

  1. In Acuity, click Scheduling page link.
  2. Scroll to the General scheduling page section.
Tip: Customize your scheduling URL by clicking Change link name. If your scheduling URL easy to remember, it’ll be easier for your clients to add your business to the app.

If a client who has already used a client account with your business logs in through the app, your business will be added to their app automatically.

To add your business through a link, your clients will:

  1. From the app home screen, tap +.
  2. Tap the Business scheduling URL field and enter your business's scheduling URL.
  3. Tap Add business.

How clients book appointments

Clients can book directly with you through the app. From the app home screen, they tap your business's name. The app opens your scheduler, and they book appointments exactly as they do when booking through a website.

How clients log in

Your clients can use the app to log into client accounts they've already created, or create a client account to use with your business. They can also use the app without logging into a client account, if they prefer, but logging in ensures they can track appointments they booked both through the web and through the app.

To log in, clients:

  1. Tap the account icon in the bottom-right corner.
  2. Tap Log In.
  3. Enter their email and password.
  4. Tap Log in.

To create a new account, clients:

  1. Tap the account icon in the bottom-right corner.
  2. Tap Create account.
  3. Enter their email address and password.
  4. Tap Create account.

Which appointments appear in the app

If your client is logged into a client account:

  • The app shows all appointments associated with their client account, if they booked through the app or on the web.
  • Appointments they schedule through the app are assigned to their client account, meaning they'll be shown those appointments if they log into their client account with their computer.
Note: If your client books appointments through the web without logging into a client account, the appointments won't appear in the client app.

If your client isn't logged into a client account, the app will only show appointments booked through the app.

How clients delete their accounts

If your clients use their client accounts with the Acuity Scheduling Client mobile app, they can ask us to delete client accounts through the mobile app. To request account deletion, a client can:

  1. Tap the account icon in the bottom-right corner of the app home screen.
  2. Tap Delete your account.
  3. Type DELETE and tap Submit.
