Fix common browser issues that affect Acuity Scheduling

Review browser settings to troubleshoot unexpected errors with your scheduler.

If you’re having trouble viewing or editing your Acuity calendar or settings, the issue might be related to your browser. When you contact us for help, we may ask you to go through some troubleshooting to help us identify the cause of the problem.

Before you contact us, it's helpful if you've already taken these steps:

1. Ensure you’re using a supported browser and it's the latest version for your operating system.
2. Open or log into Acuity in a different browser. If you don’t have the same problem, the issue is likely isolated to the first browser. If you contact us, let us know which browsers you tried.
3. Open your client scheduling page in a private or incognito window. With private browsing, you can see your scheduler how clients see it. It also turns off extensions and add-ons that interfere with Acuity. If private browsing fixes the problem, follow the next steps.
4. Clear your cache.
5. Confirm that cookies and Javascript are enabled in your browser. Our system relies on these to help you edit and browse your scheduler.
6. Disable browser extensions that might be interfering with your scheduler.
7. Reset your browser zoom settings to ensure you're not zoomed in or out. Use Ctrl + 0 (PC) or ⌘ + 0 (Mac).
8. Restart your router, modem, or gateway to clear its cache. Refer to your provider's instructions for how to do this.
9. If you have other devices or connections available, like another computer or wireless network, try opening or logging into Acuity with them. If you don't have the same problem, the issue may be related to the first device or connection. 
10. Restart your device to clear temporary system errors that might interfere with your browser.
11. If you try to access Acuity from behind a firewall that blocks it, adjust your network's security settings. You might have this issue if you’re on a corporate network, or if you use firewall software.
12. Sometimes VPNs can interfere with specific types of content, such as embedded videos. If you use a VPN, you can try disabling it.
