Set up your account
Start with a trial, log in, then open the calendar where you'll manage your appointments. This gets you set up to log in and begin using Acuity.
- Start an Acuity trial on its own or through a Squarespace site.
- Log in to Acuity from acuityscheduling.com/login.php or open Acuity from your Squarespace account dashboard.
- View your calendar by opening the Calendar panel. This is where you’ll manage bookings, block off personal time, or schedule appointments manually.
Set up your offerings, availability, and payments
Tell your clients what you offer, when you're open, and how to pay for services. This gets you set up to schedule appointments and charge for them.
- Create individual services and group classes for clients to book, like a one-on-one consultation or a group lesson that several clients join at the same time.
- Set your availability to define the days and hours you're open to take bookings.
- Connect a payment processor to accept payments or deposits during booking by connecting Stripe, Square, or PayPal.
Customize Acuity for your business
Consider these steps to tailor Acuity to your needs. These steps are optional, but can be a great fit, depending on the particulars of your business.
- Add staff members by inviting team members. You choose what they can access, and assign them their own calendars, so clients can book with a specific staff member.
- Style your scheduler to match your brand by choosing a layout template and customizing styling options.
- Use Acuity integrations to sync appointments with personal calendars (like Google Calendar), create automatic video conferencing links (like Zoom), or connect to marketing and client management tools.
Share your scheduler
Whether you directly give clients the link to book with you or put your scheduler on a website, sharing your scheduler is the way to get clients to schedule appointments on their own.
- Add Acuity to your website by embedding your scheduler directly on a Squarespace site or another website.
- Share booking links by sending clients to your scheduler or linking to specific appointment types and calendars.
Choose an Acuity plan
Before your trial ends, compare Acuity plans and upgrade to a paid plan so you don't miss a booking.
