Change your scheduling page link

Last updated

Personalize the links you use to share your scheduler with clients.

Change the scheduling page link your clients use to book appointments online. Customize your link with your business name to make it more recognizable to your clients.

Customize your client scheduling page URL

If you customize your URL, it changes your scheduling link format from the default acuityscheduling.com address to a branded link ending in .as.me:

  • Default URL: https://app.acuityscheduling.com/schedule.php?owner=[AccountID]
  • Custom URL: https://[YourBusinessName].as.me

To customize your client scheduling page URL:

  1. Open the Scheduling Page panel, then click Link.
  2. In the General Scheduling Page section, click Change Link Name.
  3. Enter your new URL. Your URL can consist of letters, numbers, and hyphens, but can’t end in a hyphen. You can't add symbols (like $ or *) or special characters (like ü, é, or ñ). The customized stem of your URL must be between two and 65 characters long.
  4. Click Save.

Customize direct links

You can customize direct links to specific parts of your scheduler by changing the URL slug (what comes after .as.me/). You can’t customize direct links for packages, gift certificates, or subscriptions.

To customize direct links:

  1. Open the Scheduling Page panel, then click Link.
  2. Customize your general scheduling page URL first, if you haven’t yet.
  3. In the Direct Links & Embedding section, use the dropdown menu to select a direct link.
  4. Click the Direct Link tab.
  5. Click Customize Link.
  6. Enter a new URL slug. The URL slug can include letters, numbers, and hyphens and must be between one and 255 characters long. You can't add symbols (like $ or *) or special characters (like ü, é, or ñ).
  7. Click Save.

Will my old links still work if I change them again?

The default version of your links will still work, even if you customize your URL.

If you customize your URL, then change the URL again, the old URL won’t work anymore. If you shared the old link in a QR code, embedded scheduler, email campaign, or sent it directly to clients, you’ll need to update it to the new customized link.

Can I use a domain I own for my scheduling page?

No. It's not possible to point a domain you own directly to your client scheduling page. Instead, point your domain to a website you own, then embed your scheduler on that website. You can use a Squarespace site for this, but you don't have to.
