Connect Acuity to Reserve with Google so clients can book appointments from Google search results, Google Maps, or Google Assistant.

Reserve with Google eligibility

To connect Acuity to Reserve with Google, you need to:

Connect to Reserve with Google

When you connect Acuity to Reserve with Google, publicly viewable data from your client scheduling page will be provided to Google. After the connection is live, Google regularly updates information about your appointment types automatically.

To connect to Reserve with Google:

  1. Make any desired changes to your appointment types before setting up the connection.
  2. Open the Integrations panel.
  3. In the Client Engagement section, find Reserve with Google and click Set Up.
  4. Enter your business’ name and address, then click Submit.
  5. Periodically review your business’s listings in Google. The integration will be live after Google approves your business, which could take days. When a Book Online button appears, you’ll know you’ve been approved.

Can I connect to multiple locations or Google Business Profiles?

No. You can only connect your Acuity subscription to one Google Business Profile. Because each Google Business Profile is tied to one specific address, it's not possible to connect multiple business locations to your Reserve with Google integration.

How clients book using Reserve with Google

After connecting Reserve with Google, clients can reach your scheduler in Google by using the Book Online button, or by selecting an appointment time in Google search results or Google AI Mode. Google displays your appointment types in the order they appear on your client scheduling page, and you can rearrange them in Acuity.

Book online button

Google displays a Book Online button in your business’s listing alongside other information such as your address, customer rating, and hours.

To book an appointment, clients:

  1. Find your business in Google.
  2. Click Book Online. This takes them to Google’s list of your appointment types.
  3. Choose an appointment type and click Book. This takes them into your scheduler with their appointment type already selected.
  4. Continue with the normal client booking process.

Google search results

Clients can search for your business on Google and find a list of available appointment times directly in their search results. Your availability is updated regularly in Google if changes are made in Acuity, like booking an appointment or updating your hours and scheduling limits.

To book an appointment from Google search results, clients:

  1. Search your business in Google.
  2. Click the Services dropdown menu to choose from a list of your public appointment types.
  3. Click the Date dropdown menu to view availability for a different date.
  4. Click a time slot. This takes clients to your scheduler with their appointment type and time already selected.
  5. Continue with the normal client booking process.

Google AI Mode

Clients can find your business and available time slots when searching for related services and appointments in Google AI Mode. When the client selects a time slot, they’re directed to your scheduling page to complete the booking process. Available time slots won’t appear in Gemini.
