With Acuity, you set your availability to regulate when clients can book appointments each week. If you have the same schedule every week, you can set repeating hours to save time, and can still make adjustments if there's an exception.

Set repeating hours
Create a weekly schedule, then set it to repeat so you’re available at the same times each week.
To set repeating hours:
- In Acuity, click Availability.
- If you have more than one calendar, or have availability and scheduling limits by appointment type, click Edit limits/availability for a calendar or appointment group.
- Check the box that says I have regular hours every week or This service group has regular hours every week.
- Enter your hours for each day of the week in the corresponding boxes. If there are days you’re regularly closed, leave them blank.
- Click Save regular hours.
Tip: If you need to change or skip a specific day without changing your default repeating hours, you can override that day.
To remove repeating hours:
- In Acuity, click Availability.
- If you have more than one calendar or have availability and scheduling limits by appointment type set up, click Edit limits/availability for a calendar or appointment group.
- Uncheck the box that says I have regular weekly hours or This service group has regular weekly hours.
- Click Save, switch to specific days.
Set availability for individual days
If there’s a day you won’t keep your regular hours, you can override your repeating hours.
To override hours:
- In Acuity, click Availability.
- If you have more than one calendar or have availability and scheduling limits by appointment type set up, click Edit limits/availability for a calendar or appointment group.
- In the Override hours for specific days section, click the day that you need to change.
- Enter your new hours and click Set hours.
Set temporary repeating hours
If the hours you're available change but will then change back, you can set temporary repeating hours. When the temporary hours end, your availability will be reset to the previous settings.
To set temporary hours:
- In Acuity, click Availability.
- If you have more than one calendar or have availability and scheduling limits by appointment type set up, click Edit limits/availability for a calendar or appointment group.
- In the Override hours for specific days section, click the day you want your temporary hours to start.
- Click Until end date....
- Enter the date you want your temporary hours to end.
- Enter your hours for each day of the week and click Set hours.
