Say your clients schedule quick appointments to drop off paperwork for tax season. You want to also have them schedule a quick appointment a week later to pick up their documents. Here are some options:
Option 1:
- Have clients book drop-off appointments on your scheduling page.
- Edit the drop-off appointment's confirmation message to include instructions on how to book the pick-up appointment type, including a direct scheduling link to the pick-up appointment type.
This ensures they are taking action, or at least aware of how to take action, before leaving the confirmation page. - Include the same information in the confirmation and reminder emails using the tag %typeconfirmationmessage%.
- Clients will click the link to schedule their pick-up appointments, and the loop will be closed.
Option 2:
- Have clients book drop-off appointments on your scheduling page.
- Edit the template for the reminder email sent 24 hours before the drop-off appointment to include instructions on how to book the pick-up appointment type, including a direct scheduling link to the pick-up appointment type.
- Clients will click the link to schedule their pick-up appointments, and the loop will be closed.
