Labels allow you to mark appointments as confirmed, make sure your staff knows a specific appointment is extra important, or mark a class attendee as checked-in, among other things. In Acuity, you can mark each appointment with one label.
When viewing the appointment calendar, labels appear as a colored box in the upper-righthand corner of an appointment.
When in detail view, the full label appears:
In class lists, the labels appear beneath clients' names:
How to add a label:
- Go to your appointment calendar.
- Click on an appointment to bring up its details.
- Click the Label button.
- Select the label you want, or click New Label to create a new label.
- If you create a new label, it will be added to the list of labels. Select it from the list, and it will be added to the appointment.
How to edit a label:
- Go to your appointment calendar.
- Click on a labeled appointment to bring up its details.
- Click on the label. The dropdown list of labels will appear.
- Click on the pencil icon to the right of the label that you want to edit.
How to remove a label from an appointment:
- Go to your appointment calendar.
- Click on the appointment to bring up its details.
- Click on the label. The dropdown list of labels will appear.
- At the bottom of the list, click the REMOVE LABEL button.
Note: Acuity users with View & Edit access can add and remove labels from appointments and class attendees. Only users with Admin access can create, edit or delete the labels themselves.
