Yes you can. If clients pay for a package in person outside of Acuity, then you can manually generate a code for them without them needing to purchase the package via your online store. To do this:
- Head over to the Business Settings > Packages, Gifts & Subscriptions page.
- Click "Edit" to go into the package you'd like to generate a code for.
- Click the "+Add Code" button on the right side of the page.
This will generate a package code that you can then email to the client outside of Acuity, and they can begin booking appointments with that code from there.
If you assign a code to a client's email address, they can enter that email address to redeem it without needing the exact code.
In order for clients to receive a confirmation email for a package, that purchase will need to take place directly through your store. Manually generating codes will not email the code to your clients. To "purchase" a package for the client and send them a confirmation email you can create a coupon for 100% off of a package then go through your store to buy that package with the coupon. That will add the purchase to the View Orders page of your account and will send clients their package code and booking link automatically!
