Change the order of your different booking options. 

Fine-tune your clients’ booking experience by rearranging how various elements appear on your scheduling page. They'll be listed on your scheduler in the same order they appear to you in your Acuity account. 

Most items appear alphabetically, though appointment types appear in the order you created them. You can rearrange the following:

Calendars, calendar locations, categories, and appointment add-ons

Calendars, calendar locations, categories for appointment types, categories for packages, gift certificates and subscriptions, and appointment add-ons are listed alphabetically. To change their order, add spaces in front of the items’ names. These spaces are counted as coming before the letter A, but aren’t displayed to clients.

Calendars and calendar locations

  1. In Acuity, click Availability
  2. Find the calendar you want to move up or down the list and click Calendar Settings.
  3. In the Calendar Name or Location field, enter spaces before the name of the calendar or location. 
  4. Click Save
Tip: If you add locations to your calendars, they display grouped by location. The locations appear in alphabetical order. Beneath each location, the calendars sharing that location are listed alphabetically. Use the technique explained above to reorder the locations or to reorder the calendars within each group.

Categories 

  1. In Acuity, click Appointment Types or Packages, Gifts & Subscriptions
  2. Click a category name to edit it, then enter spaces before the name to move it up or down the list. 
  3. Click Save

Appointment add-ons 

  1. In Acuity, click Appointment Types, then click Add-ons
  2. Next to the add-on you want to change the order of, click ..., then select Edit
  3. In the Name field, enter spaces before the name to move it up or down the list. 
  4. Click Save

Appointment types

By default, appointment types are listed in the order that you create them, with the latest at the bottom. You can drag and drop appointments with your mouse to rearrange them. You'll need to do this on a computer, not a phone or tablet. 

  1. In Acuity, click Appointment types
  2. Click and drag an appointment type to change its position on the client scheduling page and Appointment types panel. 

Your changes will be saved automatically. 

Packages, gift certificates & subscriptions

By default, packages, gift certificates and subscriptions are listed alphabetically. You can drag and drop packages, gift certificates, and subscriptions with your mouse to rearrange them. You'll need to do this on a computer, not a phone or tablet.

  1. In Acuity, click Packages, Gifts & Subscriptions.
  2. Click and drag a package, gift certificate, or subscription to change its position on the client scheduling page and Packages, Gifts & Subscriptions panel.

Your changes will be saved automatically. 

Tip: If you group your appointment types, packages, gift certificates or subscriptions into categories, they display grouped by category. The categories appear in alphabetical order, and you can use the alphabetical method to reorder them. You can use the drag-and-drop method to reorder items within each category or to move items between categories.

Custom forms

By default, custom forms appear in alphabetical order. You can drag and drop forms to rearrange them. You'll need to do this on a computer, not a phone or tablet. 

  1. In Acuity, click Intake Form Questions
  2. Click and drag a custom form to change its position on the client scheduling page. 

Your changes will be saved automatically.
