Custom Conversion Tracking

If you have custom tracking code that you would like to use that can be done by inputting your code in the Custom Conversion Tracking section in Integrations. Click on Custom Conversion Tracking, then paste the code and save. That will be automatically loaded every time a client successfully schedules an appointment.

Certain variables described within that section can be filled in dynamically, depending on which appointment was booked. But, for many types of conversion tracking variables are not needed. Since the same code is run for every appointment type, and depending on your conversion tracking program, you may be able to use dynamic variables to filter those results with the conversion tracker.

You can use the following variables to dynamically fill in your tracking code:

  • %type% appointment or order
  • %price% the total price of appointments scheduled or order
  • %id% the unique ID for the appointment
  • %calendar% for appointments, the name of the calendar
  • %appointmentType% for appointments, the name of the appointment type
  • %email% for appointments, the email address of the client
  • %clientDate% the date of the new appointment
  • %clientTime% The time of the new appointment (for the client's timezone, if applicable.)

These variables are particularly useful if you are looking to track conversions for one or a few appointment types or calendars in your Acuity account. You can add a conditional statement using a variable in your tracking code.

For example, the following statement will track conversions for only one appointment type:

if ("%appointmentType%" === "APPOINTMENT TYPE NAME HERE"){

Your code is loaded within a frame on the final confirmation page. Usually this won&apos;t affect any code you enter, but if you need to specify conversion goals in another program the domain will be and the path will be /conversion.php 


If you are using AdRoll Tracking, you will want to take the tracking code they provide and place it in the Custom Conversion Tracking section in Integrations. Create a fixed segment in order to track other events in the scheduling process such as page views and forms in addition to appointment completions.


You can place your Adwords tracking code directly into the Custom Conversion Tracking section in Integrations. Or if you are using Google Analytics you can link your Google Analytics and Adwords account. Then you can use our Google Analytics integration to track conversions.

Google Tag Manager

Tag manager does not allow us to track your original traffic source , so it is not recommended to Tag Manager code in Custom Conversion Tracking. Instead try use our Google Analytics integration.
