Note: Acuity’s support team will need to enable a setting in your account before locations by appointment type becomes available. Contact support and they’ll take care of you.
If you have different appointments that you take from different locations (i.e. phone, virtual, in person) then you can set locations by appointment type.
To add a location to an appointment type, simply head to Business Settings > Appointment Types, Edit the type, then scroll down the page to the Location field and click the Add a new location.. link; type in the location and hit Add Location.
Note: This will override calendar locations
