Use tags to automatically include client intake form answers in your automated emails.

When clients fill out intake forms, you can automatically include their specific answers in your confirmation and follow up emails.

Insert individual form answers

When you include an intake form tag in an email template, Acuity replaces the tag with the client's answer when the email is sent. If the client skipped an optional question, the space stays blank.

To include an intake form answer in your email template:

  1. Open the Client Email panel.
    2. \n
  2. Select an email type (like Booking Confirmation) and click the template you want to edit.
    3. \n
  3. Click inside the template editor where you want the tag.
    4. \n
  4. Click Insert Field in the editor toolbar.
    5. \n
  5. Scroll to the Form Fields section and select the question you want to include.
    6. \n
  6. Click Save template.
    7. \n

Note: If clients upload files to intake forms, form tags won't display or attach that file.

What happens if a client updates their answers?

If a client updates their intake form answers after booking, any future automated emails will automatically pull in the new answers. Previously sent emails won't change.
